Feeling unfulfilled and out of place in a corporate world where relationships felt inauthentic and destructive, I knew something needed to change. Having moved from London, spending 7 years in Los Angeles building a life and a home, I felt quite dramatically derailed when the life I had previously envisioned no longer seemed to make sense. It was harsh and heavy at first, but I was grateful for this fall for it helped me grow wings and take to the skies. I started a new path prioritizing my own wellness and growth through adventures around the world often with yoga and the surrounding community leading the way through Bali, Spain, Mexico, Portugal and Costa Rica.
I practiced grounding and a deeper connection with myself through yoga. Joy and playfulness through acro. Love and kindness through Thai Massage. At the same time, cultivating and capturing joy and connection became a clear focus in photography and music. Realizing the aspects that really ignite my passion for life I continue to train and learn so I can share these practices with others and tap into my nature to be creative, and build community and connection.
Whilst I have over 600 hrs of certified yoga training including Yin and Trauma Informed YACEP, I am a forever student of the mind, body and soul and enjoy learning from teachers such as Sadhguru, Alan Watts, Brene Brown, Bessel Van Der Kolk, Gabor Mate amongst others, combining aspects of philosophy, art, psychology and neuroscience for a rounded connection to what it is to be human. Most of all, my teacher is life itself. The more diverse experiences I have the more diversity I find in growth, allowing the external world to help us look deeper within. Eventually this journey inspired me to write. Having often made notes along they way, I felt a strong calling to bring my thoughts, feelings and insights to the page in the form of poetry and prose. I am currently working on finalizing my first poetry and prose book and enjoy performing pieces at open mic events and connecting with the writing community. What I like to think of as a community of truth seekers.
